I'm working on getting six pack abs right now and it's not easy. Does anyone here have any recommendations as far as a good six pack abs diet? I have read that egg whites, oatmeal, broccoli, blueberries and salmon are all necessary to include in your diet...are there any other foods I should include to build muscle and get ripped abs?

The ONLY technique to consistently lose weight and your abdominal fat and keep it off for good is to combine a sound nutritious diet full of unprocessed natural foods with a properly fat loss designed strategic exercise plan that stimulates the necessary hormonal and metabolic response in your body. [...] A lot of people declare it is the training which encourages body fat loss and weight loss

The heavy training exercise that helps you build muscles will help you with abdominal fat loss. The best way to get rid of tummy fat is by combining all these elements - diet, cardio and weight training. Weight training leads to healthy muscle building. When you build muscles, it will automatically reduce body fat. This burning of fat happens everywhere in the body. Slowly, it will help you trim your waistline.

I've been "Somersizing" for six weeks and have lost 23 pounds! The recipes are great, and I don't miss starches and sugar at all! I've seen several people inquire about a message board; iVillage.com has a message board devoted to Somersizing, as well as boards for the Atkins diet and several other plans. The women there are so supportive of each other. I hope to see you there!

Hi,
always warm-up for at least 10 minutes with some form of light, continuous activity, like walking on the treadmill (before lifting weights). This will help to insure your muscles and joints are sufficiently warm and ready to handle the workload.

Bodybuilding is a sport, bodybuilding is not a sport, bodybuilding is an art, bodybuilding is a science, give it your "all", be "tough", etc, ad infinitum. It is clear how one can become confused from the onset.
